- My blog is about something that i am very passionate about ... My undeniable interest for cocktail making.It all started when i decided to embark on the pursuit of higher knowledge; college and university ... To allow myself that pursuit of higher knowledge i had to earn money in order to pay for school. That was my introduction to the hospitality world. My first intense job 'in the biz' was a 5 star restaurant back in Canada. The concept of the place was local Canadian products only ... I was lucky enough to get the job thanks to a friend that went for the job prior to me and failed the trivial quiz about wine and fine dining. Thanks to that friend helping me out by letting me know what they were going to inquire about and studying , i got in ! Nonetheless i was nervous because i was unfamiliar with almost everything i was exposed to... Spirits, wines, champagnes and a vast culinary world full of delicacies. I learned so much, i soon became very passionate about cocktail preparation, innovations, the masters behind beverage making, the novelties ... Today, I still think of myself as a student.
